Every one of Roland's hand shaped surfboards and Longboards that come out of the factory are considered a "high precision sculpture".
We define them this way because every single board is a piece of art. They combine years of shaping and glassing experience, and are made of the highest quality materials. We are aware that the surfboard market is very competitive, but we are confident that the perfomance, quality, craftmanship and excellent prices of our boards will meet or exceed your expectations. Roland Chocarro has been shaping, or "sculpting", and glassing boards since 1979.

Factory Tour
The Factory is a full service facility. If you would like color on your board we offer airbrushing, pigment lamination, and foam stains. Our employees have years of combined board building experience and are the best in the business.

We specialize in the use of a variety of composites; core materials such as Carbon fiber, kevlar, EPS foam cores, Epoxy and polyurethane resins, as well as vacuum bagging board construction.

Order your Board
Custom surfboards take approximately 2/4 weeks to complete.
If you would like assistance with your custom order, our friendly and knowledgable staff is available to you, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (PST), 7 days a week. Call 310-922-0139 or email us: rolandsurf@gmail.com
After you place your board order, you'll receive a confirmation to verify that your order has been received and put into production. After that, the next time you hear from the factory is when your board is completed and ready to ship.
